The Sprout Mural in the Strip
Carley Parrish and Shannon Pultz were selected to create a mural on the Hermanowski Building (1907 Penn Ave.) The design for the mural was inspired by ideas from the community and the history of the area as well as the art of Romare Bearden, who lived on Penn Avenue with his grandparents in the late 1920s.
